The Queen lays frozen in time
  as she has for millenia
  both eternal as stone
  and decayed as flesh
     gone grey green
  dessicated and mummified by
  elements of itself and
  its own nature
And from her I rise
  vibrant verdant voluminous in
     my own right
  my weathered hand cranes from
  her heart
  alien and archaic as one
  we whisper
Forever is the blink of an eye
in the face of the universe
