Her eyes shine like stars reflecting pale moonlight,
Her hair is matted with dust and dirt from a bitter fight,
Her hope holds strong, though her will is slowly dying,
Her dreams are bending beyond their limits, if they break, she's done trying,

Along comes her love, burning with pure lust,
She gives her soul to him, an animal who's skin is covered with rust,
He's lied to her, her gift was laced with the sweetest poison there is,
She chokes and coughs, but her eyes have shut and her throat closed around his,

The only remedy for her is him.
