There's a secret side of me that no one's ever seen,
It haunts me every breath I take with the shattered memories,
Such a long, twisted road I've walked, without a soul by my side,
Monsters walk within our shadows and soon they'll come alive,

I've been broken into pieces, and I won't be whole again,
Without some source of light to see, I wander endlessly in sin,
I hear a distant cadence, rocking through the desert air,
The shadows dance around me, stopping time, leaving me bare,

The side of me that no one knows,
Is growing closer to the shore,
Feeding on regret and agony,
Beating on my misplaced sense of me,
The side of everyone they hide inside their minds,
The monsters walking in our shadows, they've come alive.
