She was born a real go-getter,
gorgeous,
amazement spewed from her eyes,
open to whims,
she gave everybody a peek inside
& what did they do
but scoff her,
used her
again & again,
they washed away their sins
& she,
left out in the cold,
lost all hope,
her flicker faded
& she became part
of the brutal
jaded-world
that offers
no consolation
to worn-out beauty.
