All my life I had been taught
To pray to a God in the sky
But when I called for help
I received no answer
Then you walked into my life
And made me believe in a heaven
Even when I was suffering through hell
Everything had been black ever since I could remember
But you walked into my life with your prismatic charm
Cracking my veins, spilling colors into me
I still believe something is out there
Because when you hold my hand
I swear I can feel an angel tapping on my shoulder
Whispering in my ear that it doesn't get any better than this
