lovely

From up high
there is a meadow
Where succulent flowers grow
In the deepest trough.
Its scent wrapped around us
Suffocating us
Drugging us
Intoxicating
Till we could barely stand.
As I stare into your eyes
I feel naked
Before you
I am stripped bare
To my raw soul.
Nothing else can compare
To your voice
Close to my ear
To the tickle of your
Whisper.
When you tell me
I love you.
