Daisy, the cheerful flower
Is actually a dead-inside *****
These are the things they don't tell you about the young and beautiful
Gatsby's mind is so clogged with her golden haze
He can't see past her blinding green searchlight
That is ironically placed right outside of his reach
He covers up his despair with grand parties
Elaborate Loneliness
So she'll say, "Oh, Gatsby! I must have you!"
However, the rich only get richer
And the lonely people with the pure dreams die in the end
While the eyes of Dr. T.J. Eckleberg just watch on
