Mar 2014
good night good night I say to the moonlight
you have raised the tide
and dulled my pride
you washed my soul clean and pure
I no longer am insecure

if time were frozen where would you steer
to me and my heart you will always be near
even in your absence I cannot weep
for you have made my soul to keep
if time where ending you wouldn't despair
for inside you all things are fair

you make me happy in times of need
so there is never a time to plead
you shine bright through clouds of sin
you save me from myself within
you offer peace for all who try
from where you rest up in the sky
