She had a menacing gaze,
piercing-eyes
like an alley cat,
came from
two hoods over
near the Ballymun flats.

So I understood,
it wasn't too
hard to explain
the serpent that slithered
down her **** spine
& the flaming-skulls that
rolled up each arm.

It was the two angels,
one inked on each blade
that confused me.
