Every single day.
Every single day I want to reach into my pocket.
Find your name.
And fix everything.

I want to tell you I love you.
You were my best friend.
I want you.
I didn’t have ***.
I don’t care that you did.
I care about you.
I love you.
I will always be in love with you.
We made promises.
I want to say anything and everything.
I want to go to your house, hundreds of miles away,
And knock on the door.

Nothing I can do will fix anything but,
CHRIST.
I think about you.

I still have that lovely morning photo.
You’re perfect.
My brain makes my eyes see you everywhere.

I wish it wasn’t wrong.
