Sleeping with scissors
The comfort of their contour
Bring me sweet dreams
Of vivid, cutting edge scenes

Sleeping with keys
Keep the scissors at bay
Lock them together, lock them away
Keys, the insurance of my steel
Keep me safe, straight to the first meal

Sleeping with pins
Sharp, straight to the point
They lever lead me astray
Wit of a jester in a courtyard
Jesting
And jesting away

Sleeping with inanimate objects
Cold and dull
Keep me safe
They fill the null
Inanimate objects
Keep my bed full
Inspiration: Fell asleep on my floor doing crafts, fell asleep on my scissors and pin cushion as well as the key necklace that I took off.
