Going Back.
I'm never going back
you held my gaze
(a moment too long)
this morning
and I know
I am terrible at lying
I looked away
(too quickly, this time)
and you knew
I saw your smirk
(God, I want you)
and you
knew
And I heard your voice
around the corner
(there's more soul in you than anyone, baby)
and my heart is terrible at lying
(It beat too quickly)
(and it gave it away)
and I knew
I heard my heart
(God, I love you)
and I
knew
I'm never going back, again.
