One day, they said.
You'd be there.
What a wait it is.
Hours like days.

It begins today.
An empty office
What a view from here
Days like hours

You feel the pressure
the weight of the whole world
they said you'd make it to the top one day.

You climb this mountain
the height of the world
they all said you'd see the peak one day.

"You'll stare into the face of god, the face will not stare back but from the peak"

What a peak

breath short
tired legs

The day came
the black cars carried you away
the mountain took it's climb on you
now it's fair and equal

an empty void
a mountain of a life
