I am made of Earth and I am made of stars,

I am made of bones and I am made of scars.

I am broken promises and the absence of lost time,

I am faded starlight but one day I will shine.

I am the 3am burning echoes and the rippling reality of this,

I am the darkness in daylight, craving the silent moons kiss.

I am all words unsaid, the phrases never to be spoken,

I am a mosaic of infinite worth and yet some still see me as broken.

For what you are and what you were, so easy to define.

I am simply blood and bones with a  heavy hearted mind.
We must learn to accept what we are, so no one can use it against us.
