Seasons change,
as do we.
Cut us down,
to watch us bleed.
Whispers in the wind,
giving them a fright.
Whilst all of whom have sinned,
left awake past midnight.
Let me steal your ear,
so you can have a listen.
A thought to those not hear,
a secret that is hidden.
Aware of the mysteries,
lurking in the pages.
A prayer for the wild at heart,
forever kept in cages.
Try to catch them, hunt them down,
burn all the cities, turn over towns.
From Young they were taught,
how to run but never to stop.
So as you are sleeping,
with the lights now fully dimmed.
Your eyes are closed, so open an ear,
For the whispers in the wind.
Author Notes
I wrote this a while back, this is for people who feel as if they arnt really who they want to be, people who are trapped within just waitin for their soul to escape.
