They say, “forgive and forget.”
But you never do forget.
Someone please tell me how someone can forget something,
So painful that one just stares into nothing.

How does one smile when they have had their heart ripped out of their body and smashed to the ground.

Please tell me how someone can continue learning and receiving knowledge when they’re mental sanity has been ******* with.

I beg you to tell me how one can go about life and laugh so freely as if nothing is wrong.
Something is wrong. Life looks at you and laughs in your face when you mess up. It knocks you down places a stake through your heart to keep you stranded and helpless.

You don’t move. You don’t breathe. But, you’re not dead. You just stare. You stare into nothingness in hopes to find one thought, one feeling one anything to remove this metal stake.

Is there a secret to become happy again? I sure hope so or I will drown in my own thoughts.
