Let me leave the print of my lips on your collarbone
Let me whisper my poetry softly into your ear at midnight
Maybe you should let my hands dance on your skin
Let my fingers brush through your hair
Our bodies pressed onto each other
Let our voices make beautiful music
Tell me your secrets & I'll tell you mine
Tell me you love me just for tonight

Just for tonight

& in the morning I'll be gone
The only thing you'll have left of me is the print of my lips
The vague memory of my words
The marks my fingertips left on your body
My scent pressed onto your sheets
The melody of our voices together
The secrets that were told
The secret was, you were never mine & I was never yours.
