As I watch the birds bathe, I notice their security, their strength, their knowledge of their surroundings, their peace. Knowing it's not the same bath as yesterdays or the days before. Knowing that possibly any second a larger predator could attack whether it's be a hungry cat, a protective dog, or a bored kid with a new BB gun and yet they just bathe, peacefully splashing around like it's their own water park, just to move on and find another, bigger or smaller. I like the concept of a birds life, I could stay and play or spread my winds and fly far far away finding new water parks each and everyday.
Dear, God. Make me a bird so I can fly far, far, far away from here.
