This is what happens when my
Self-inflicted wounds get the better of me.

My identity as a twin
Has shattered my perception
Of the reality that I
Tried to hold inside my heart
This fracture caused friction
That rubbed me the wrong way
Yet always gave me
A direction I could go towards
The words of the wisest man
Craft my new life
Inside of a new identity
Identical to the former form of a formality
My identity as a twin
Has shattered my perception
Of my long living life
