Curling across homes of the ****** among the dry shifting carpet
Slithering up a spire of oak like a venomous snake
Opening its jaws wide to swallow the miles of wood
Glass like molten steel clawing deep into the brush
The scream of a dying goddess who once towered over her seed
The weeping around her fire alights there limbs
Like a tornado with a heat of hell
Then the rain cold biting angrily
The gleaming beautiful hurtful lights hissing with anger
Several moments later the lights retreat with a whimper
And a new day shines again through grey skys
