You can eat them plain or toasted,
Either with or without salt.
You can fry them; you can roast them;
You can flavor them with malt.

You can sprinkle them in salad.
You can serve them with your fish.
You can eat them from a bag; or
You can flavor any dish.

They’re nutritious and delicious
And they’re very, very mild.
You can buy them at the market;
You can harvest from the wild.

I love gathering pine nuts,
Fresh and tasty from the wood;
For we always go together
That’s what makes them taste so good.
