Feb 2014
Temperatures rise,
and I can see the baby green shoots
of grass,
peeking through the thawing snow.

Animals start to awaken from their winter nap,
and feed themselves
with the fresh spring plants.

I can smell the blooming flowers.
and hear the happy chirping birds.
Walking down the street
ligned with the vibrant colours of new plant life,
feeling that springtime is in
the air.
