Man Beyond the Moon

Take me far away— A place that's far beyond horizons. Past the breeze of seven seas, Above the highest mountains. Let me breathe the cold of heaven Drifting out in space. Let me feel firsthand the rays Of sunshine on my face. And think of all that ever was— The bane of our existence. Grasp the impact of it all, While gazing from a distance. It takes an isolated man Who seems to be so lonely, To understand what makes the world Vibrant, alive, and homely.
