Ferryman
You extracted a price,
from the life and flutter
of a slender wet tongue
I felt used
But so does Charon extract,
from the still and stale
hollows of our dead tongues!
Ferry me over -
you know where,
for that price
Ferry me over,
so I need not pay twice
