The Keeper of Souls
You burn the spoon, and it chases the flame
Soothingly lets out whispers of your name
Your nose tingles at the scent of the fuel
A little diesel and goodbye to all of life’s rules…
Try as you might
You won’t win the fight
This love’s taken its toll
I’m too deep inside
You live for the ride
With the keeper of souls
Make me gone, so you can carry on
I’m the venom coursing through your veins
You try to run but there’s nowhere to hide
You’re already addicted to the pain
Blurred all the lines
In for one hell of a time
You’re losing control
Creeping inside
Surrender your life
To the keeper of souls
