All Yours (Dead and Gone)
You had total control,
Engulfed my world.
Devotion and will,
All for you, sweet girl.
You contest the faith,
Pulling its elastic bonds.
Numbed senses lose awareness,
Next you know, I'm already gone.
Hide away, because I won't lie.
All I refrained from to keep you won't be held inside.
I never let go,
Never stood down.
Even when you doubted this love's pride.
This dies tonight,
As a fire in the new day's dawn.
You'll never appreciate your transgressions
Of the love now dead and gone.
**** all light around,
Bury all these lies.
Your concern never existed, so sever the ties.
I will deny you
Power to reside.
Dead and gone, be glad you left it as it died.
This dies tonight,
As a fire in the new day's dawn.
You'll never appreciate your transgressions
Of the love now dead and gone.
I move on, in discontent,
You left your mark, a third hip now razor-torn.
Another scar to carry in silence,
A lifetime of torment already worn.
When you look back, smile with those tears,
Of a past you proved unworthy to behold.
You killed the nice in me tonight,
Once all yours, bold and true,
Pay it no mind, it's all dead and gone.
