Truth Be Told

You never really were the one for me

There's no goin back to how we used to be

We faked everything we are

I can't believe we let it go this far

Stayed up all night when we first met

Now it seems that there ain't no words left

The days are hot and the nights are long

Dreamin' about where we went wrong

There ain't no sense, in tryin' to fix

Something that never fit together in the first place

Knew from the start we were destined to fail

I'm looking at a stranger when I see your face

I feel like **** and you do to

I say the words, but I can't get through

And I don't know why, we still try

How much more, til you say goodbye?
