Dream or Not a Dream

My mind a twisted trap, as gnarled as a tree, oh who would envy me? Ensnare my thoughts and dreams, a shadow is seldom as it seems. As they trap my silent screams, I finally remember my dreams. I wake with a terrible fright, of the monster that gave me a fright. He has many a dreadful lair, for he goes by the name NIGHTMARE.
