people are stunned
into silence
with some of my poems
and that's because
i show them the good ones
the ones i'm proud of
not the simple one
i wrote to feel lighter,
to remove that heavy
ice block
from my chest.
i show the good ones.
ones i have spent
forever
forming the words
and the emotion.
