Elysian economics

We just swallow & stitch on

flimsy pharmaceutical feathers,

with gobs of spit and wax.

We circle the sun

hoping this simulacrum,

weighs more than a hedon

We practice ephemeral mechanics,

only with bridges on the river Styx,

then wonder why winter never seems to end.
