Run
The tide rolls in
Bringing waves two
Maybe three times my size
I wish I could run away
I've tried before
I've been lucky
But my I can feel my legs giving out
I can feel myself giving up
My speed slows
I sense the water above me
And almost instantly
I'm back where I belong
I begin to lose the light
Then the blue
Until I'm completely submerged in darkness
There's no point in sending help
No point in fighting back
My mind is made
No more running
