There's an orchestra inside of me
Ready to start the symphony
Dear God I hope there's someone willing to listen
I offer no aesthetic
Yet still present a masterpiece in the making
The conductor keeps delaying the start
Impatience and anger is starting to grow within the audience
Many get up and leave
Few stay to listen
The symphony has now begun
The few that have stayed cherish every note
Every second lingers in their minds
Analysis of the truth is being made
Judgement arising
Eventually the symphony will die down
Idle once more
Preparing for what will be presented next
Collecting confidence
The audience will decide whether or not to
Stay
And once again, many leave
The repetition of this cycle appears never ending
When will I receive my standing ovation ?
My audience is dwindling
All I ask is for you to
Stay
I promise that my symphony can be music to your ears
