Blackberry sky your darkness stains my days
watercolor washed in charcoal grey
tangled storms you twist, uprooting precious suns
footprints in mud, swift my blood, cut and swept under the rug
dark walls merge with clouds, disappearing in theΒ greys
with shivering rains you pour
The nightjar
