No Matter
If given the chance to explain myself
I wouldn't know which words to use
If you'd actually stop and listen
No matter what I'd lose
If we ever find the time
I know I'd want even more
Another hour, maybe just a minute
If only to put off you're breaking down and out the door
If no one's opinion mattered
And our love was all we knew
I'd still never make it to your side
Asleep on your lawn come morn, skin damp with dew
