you know just what to do
to make me feel so incredibly alone
you burrow deep into my heart
every nook and cranny is infatuated with thoughts of you
you tear me apart
you make me feel like a stranger
to myself
but how is it
after you destroy the bitter pieces of what's left of me,
and make my heart yearn for your ice cold eyes,
i can still love you just the same
