“Yes sir.” “No sir.”
“Another sir?”
The butler says
Waiting on those
Who are in power.
“Shoes off please”              
“May I take your coat?”
He is trampled upon.
Sitting in a corner,
Left to his own devices,
He cries.
No one asks the butler.
“How was your day?”
“Do you want anything?”
No one cares
About a doormat’s woes
But he cares
For theirs
