Alone in the sand's centre
The anxious sea
One after one
The waves come closer
The mighty *****
And the sand's inner strength
Slowly, almost imperceptibly
Insidiously
Slip away
One after one
The sea is everywhere
The fear crescendos
It ebbs at the cliff's edge
The sand is gone
What waves?
None after none
This is about the dangerous impact of anxiety, leading to depression/emptiness.
