IV - Mother Nature
We carve our nails
through your warm,
brown flesh
We **** your children
forgetting that we
too are your
sons and daughters
We poison your blood
without thinking it is
the same blood that
runs through our veins
We slowly suffocate
you, our mother
How
dare
we?
Dear Mother Nature,
Don’t forgive us.
