Life will have you

by yazmin-vargas

Life linked itself to my skin It hanged on my shoulders Heavy but it dripped It reached my legs The floor became unwalkble I crawled on all fours Life was laid out on my back I cared it with strengths and weaknesses It reached my spine I could not move My mind only thought and my heart beat Life crawled inside me It caused me to stop My soul still loved Life didn't become my soul I become my life.
