When I was a kid I cried because I was afraid of the dark.
I sobbed as I searched for the light,
Every time around midnight,
Stay up trying to fight my fright
As you can see fear destroys the seen.
Ask me what I really mean.
Fear controls love,
Kind of like shooting a beautiful dove from above.
Wonder why birds fly when you get close?
Cause they fear that you'll do harm, like when you're are scared of pills after you tried to overdose.
It's not being afraid of heights, it's being afraid of falling.
It's not being afraid of the dark but getting lost in it.
Fear controls you,
Fear shuts you down and there's practically nothing you can do.
Don't be afraid of confronting fear
Once you let it in, it'll have no way out
And that's without a doubt.
DONT BE IT'S MAID
JUST DONT BE AFRAID!
