i do not belong here.
my hand has never fit quite right in yours
nor with anyone else's.
as an infant,
my you could not cradle me,
because my tiny frame wouldn't click into place
with yours.
please, don't say my name,
for every time it falls out of your lips,
i cannot but feel it's being shoved.
the letters of my name will never
sit quite right between your molars,
will never hug the curve of your lips.
so keep my ******* name out of your mouth.
i do not belong there.
keep me out of your ******* family,
because i do not belong near.
keep me out of your life,
i do not belong here,
i do not belong here,
i do not belong.
