Wondrous Tree

A wondrous tree of nature
exquisite in every way
your limbs reach high in all directions
they twist, turn and bend to amaze.

Through shades of glory you shelter
welcoming to embrace
your years are deeply rooted
and the moss it clothes your days.

For spring will view with splendor
thruogh waves of joys you gesture
The birds they flock in masses
and sing a gentle praise.

The summer adores your grandeur
as the warm breeze persuades
and kiss your night to open
to share the morning gaze.

Your leaves they fall like feathers
to blanket your wintery days
The air maybe cold to frigid
but you stand where you were made.
