This Empty Home

As I sit in these four walls A mother cries and screams An empty, ungodly roar. The Weeping Willow lay In her Bed Heart-broken and destroyed She doesn't lay her head. Medication she takes And her demons combined Leaves a shattered empty home A father left behind. It wasn't his choice I understand I do But the Weeping Willow upstairs Is giving up on pulling through.
