I don’t wanna hurt

I don’t wanna grow

I don’t wanna be here
‘til the day I’m old

I don’t wanna wait
'til the sun comes down
just to finally know
that maybe it’s getting late
that the road is too dark
that to come back home
to know how I was before
to be same old same old

it’s too late

it’s already too late
to be found in the woods
to be eaten by wolves
to pass out in the cold

it’s already too late
for it to be sudden
it’s already too late
to be swiftly run over
it’s already too late
to stop the decay

it is our way

the fight burns out
and you’re approaching
no sound as you step closer
no feeling as you touch me

I want you
and now I see you
it's your eyes
how I missed you

I feel lighter
my heavy skin left behind
and by the hand you take me
we break out of this mind

together we walk
through lands with no sun

together we fly
through endless corridors

and we  sing   the    song

as       you
                          take

                                                   me

                                                                           home
