Look into my eyes,
What do you see,
The horrific pain,
That has consumed me

I put a smile on my face,
even though I am a shattered soul,
Just sitting here waiting,
For death to take its tole

The tears that I have been crying,
Have begun to flood,
Inside I am dying,
And still nobody knows

There's a monster inside,
No where to go,
Not a place to hide,
But nothing to show

I am alone,
All I do is cry,
People may wonder,
But they will never know the true reason why.
