Jan 2014
have I told you that you are the wonder of my life
the sweet fragrance of every breath I take
and you take apart my heart daily and rearrange it
to love you even more

anticipating seeing you, has my mine all aflutterd
as I watch those soft lips say good morning
your voice tunes will play in my head all day
to keep my step lively and in rhythm

when the evening comes with it blankets of stars
and before the moon tucks us in for the night
I'll point one out just for you and me
then hold you close as we silently dream
