the escapist
the birds are waving
goodbyes to the careless wound
and I hope I'm a feather
floating aimlessly at this blue world
the waves are waiting
for a ride that would define time
and I wish I'm in that part of the globe
paddling carelessly on a makeshift wood
but what am I but another escapist
out to heal the unknown
hoping that soon I'd find answers
to the questions I so long hold
what am I but another broken heart
out to patch my wounds
hoping to clear my thoughts
to the worries that scratches my soul
all I know is that I'm a wasted heart
waiting for the world to swallow me whole
a drifter
lost with every misused word
time to escape this world...
