drops in a drought
oh i'd like to drive an escalade
but my feet can't reach the ground-
i am sure it was only yesterday
money rained like drops in a drought.
well that's life, that's life,
no, yeah-
that's life, that's life.
this heart leaked flames into the sky
so the gas man shut it down-
now it shoots to aim but it shoots with doubt
you were good but your fire drowned.
well that's life, that's life,
no, yeah-
that's life, that's life.
