I'm learning to be mature,
to solve things myself.
Things that were once in my control,
but now are just hanging in my life
like dead plants on a wire,
taking up space for no reason
but to bother me
as I have to avoid
hitting my head on them
as they lifelessly hang there
from the ceiling.
