I always new this time would come
when we depart our lives as one
that smile you wear, is worn out by fear
and that says it all

but could it be your missing me
in all your wildest fantasys
and realize its not a dream
that i have forgotten you
I chose to refuse your memories

the residue of this love affair
lie strewn across  the floor
the shamelessness and greed
collects in the corners of this room

a restless heart will never rest
as it looks for new blood for it's life
and when the heart stops
there is peace
